Home & Yard Care/ Maintenance in Saanich Ridge Estates (SRE)

Lawn mowing service:

Service includes mowing of lawns to a height of 2 to 3 inches, depending on the season. It includes all edging, removal of cut grass and cleanup afterwards. In line with best practises I aim to cut a maximum of 1/3 of the length of the grass at a time and preferably when it is dry.

Important to know and action:

All obstacles should be removed from the grass prior to cutting, unless you want me to cut around it.

Your lawn should kindly be free of any dog excrement prior to cutting (the flying matter does not discriminate!)

If the grass becomes too long, a second cut will be necessary and there will be an additional fee of 50% on the base price for the extra work.

Cost per mowing session:

Front lawn mowing - $40 (between the two property lines)

Rear lawn mowing - $80

Combo of front and rear - $110

Prepay for 4 sessions and receive a 15% discount

Also note... Rear lawn possible additional cost:

If dog excrement cleanup is needed prior to mowing, a surcharge of $25 will be levied. (This covers the cost of paying some neighbourhood kids to clean up the lawnmower and my shoes !)

Window cleaning services:

This service includes the cleaning of all exterior glass surfaces with a streak-free cleaning agent, wiping down of window edges and the adjacent trim.

Important to know and action:

Please note that insect screens should be removed prior to cleaning. If you are unsure how to do this, please let me know and I will gladly do it for you.

Cost per cleaning session:

Upper suite - $50

Main house - $100

Combo of suite and house - $140

Prepay for 4 cleaning sessions and receive a 15% discount

Pressure washing services:

I use an electric 3000 PSI High Pressure Washer and take great care not to damage any surfaces - but to do a thorough cleaning. Surfaces are pre-soaked with environmentally friendly products and then washed off.

Cleaning of driveway and patio includes cleaning of garage door and bottom section of the house.

Cost per cleaning session:

Driveway and walkway with small patio at rear - $160

Driveway and walkway with large patio at rear - $190

Cleaning of house siding - lower level - $300 (includes window cleaning)

Cleaning of house siding - upper level -$380 (includes window cleaning)

(Value added service with any pressure wash cleaning : quick wash of your garbage bins for $10 extra)
